Our Lord Jesus Christ was taking a natural thought to communicate a spiritual thought. Just as food is necessary for you to survive so is the Word of God necessary for you to go on as a born again child of God Almighty.

As a matter of fact, without God’s Word we can’t survive the test of times. For its food for your spirit, solutions to your mind and health to your body. It works as God’s medicine for your existence.

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 AMP

So get into God’s word on a daily base and grow healthy spiritually, naturally and physically in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
