Today we read:
Psalm 134-137

God’s love has the power and ability to give birth to change in people’s life.

When we all came to the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, we came just the way were. Because of His love for us, we were not cast out, but accepted in the Beloved and as a result of that, we are being conformed into the image of Christ.

“All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me].”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:37‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

People change, not because of what you do for them, but for the love you express and have for them. This means, coming into fellowship with the one you want to see change. This is the strategy that Jesus used to change His disciples. His love and compassion for them gave birth to change. His time of close fellowship and love communion with the disciples caused them to be conformed to His image.

“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever-increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

We can be used as instruments of change in people’s lives when we learn to bring them into fellowship with the Father and Son by introducing them to the love of God.

“What we have seen and [ourselves] heard, we are also telling you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with us. And [this] fellowship that we have [which is a distinguishing mark of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah).”

This is the secret of change!

Learn to introduce people to God and His love and not to yourself.

Remember: the secret of change is introducing people to the Father and Son and not to yourself.

You become what you fellowship with!
