Today we read:
Psalm 128-130

Love is God’s way of letting people see the best of themselves in God. Sometimes love can look foolish, but it is through the foolishness of God’s love for humanity, that causes people to repent.

“Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God’s will)?”

That is why it takes the foolishness of preaching the Gospel of love for men to be saved.

“For when the world with all its earthly wisdom failed to perceive and recognize and know God by means of its own philosophy, God in His wisdom was pleased through the foolishness of preaching [salvation, procured by Christ and to be had through Him], to save those who believed (who clung to and trusted in and relied on Him). For while Jews [demandingly] ask for signs and miracles and Greeks pursue philosophy and wisdom, We preach Christ (the Messiah) crucified, [preaching which] to the Jews is a scandal and an offensive stumbling block [that springs a snare or trap], and to the Gentiles it is absurd and utterly unphilosophical nonsense. But to those who are called, whether Jew or Greek (Gentile), Christ [is] the Power of God and the Wisdom of God. [This is] because the foolish thing [that has its source in] God is wiser than men, and the weak thing [that springs] from God is stronger than men.
[No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame.”

It is foolish to love your enemies and pray for them. But knowing the spirit that causes them to become your enemies, you will love them because they’re blind to the truth. Therefore, pray that their eyes will be open while waiting for God’s Spirit to touch their lives, you keep loving them for who they are having God’s vision in mind of what He will make them to be.

Therefore, demonstrating God’s love for people is the display of His wisdom.

Remember: everyone deserves God’s love because in His love is the hidden wisdom of God revealed.

Walking in love may be foolish, but it’s through it we all are saved.
