Love has boundaries. God is love, but His love should not be taking for granted or be abused. When Adam and Eve sinned, God’s love covered their nakedness.
“For Adam also and for his wife, the Lord God made long coats (tunics) of skins and clothed them.”

Their sins were covered. The Word of God says: “Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others]. [Prov. 10:12.]”
1 Peter 4:8 AMPC
Furthermore, though their sins were covered God’s boundaries for their lives didn’t change.
“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Due to their sin, they were removed by God from the garden of Eden.
“And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us [the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit], to know [how to distinguish between] good and evil and blessing and calamity; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever– Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So [God] drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden the cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep and guard the way to the tree of life. [Rev. 2:7; 22:2, 14, 19.]”

The reason why God drove them out of the garden is because of love. For if boundaries of love are being trespassed, it has its consequences.
Remember: Love has its boundaries. Loving people doesn’t mean you ought not to set boundaries.
Set your boundaries thoughtfully!
