Isaiah 53-54
2 Thessalonians 1-3

The Word of God says: “Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”

That means if we sow seeds of love in the life of people, we have to expect a great harvest of love. Someone may say: “I gave love to a lot of people, but they ended up treating me with contempt, so that is not for me”.

Let’s look at the scriptures again, God never said: “the people you love will love you back.” But it said: “you will reap what you sow.” He didn’t tell us how the harvest will come or the resources that He will use. It’s obvious He will use people, but it must not necessarily be from the people we sowed the seeds of love to. That’s why He encourages us not to be weary in well-doing. He knew adverse circumstances might emerge because of our seeds down, but we mustn’t give up until we experience the harvest.

Jesus Christ was once rejected by us, but today we’re so much in love with Him because of His life of love that He gave for us to live.

Love never wants to see anyone perish that’s why we can’t stop giving love to people.

The Word of God says: “Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.”

Remember: whenever you stop giving love, you stop the flow of God’s blessings through you and to you.
