The Word of God speaks of sin, but the big question: “What is a sin?” Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). That means, doing things out of self will or without faith in God.

As believers in Christ, the law that governs our lives is love. Therefore, sin is anything you do without the Love of God.

The fuel for our faith is love. That’s why whatever you do in word and deed without love, is sin because it’s born out of selfishness. For this reason, you must handle people with love, irrespective of what they do to you. If you say you love God; your love for God will be expressed by how you handle people.

“If a man says, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.”

Conclusively: sin is speaking and acting without God’s Love dominating you.

Remember: God’s Love is the solution for sin.

Always talk and act in love.
