1 Chronicles 14-18

Ministering to Jesus is not just singing a worship song to Him. Our worship to God is in vain when we can’t minister to the needy.

The Word of God says: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

Jesus Christ our Lord was saying to us that when we minister to the needs of the perishing world, we do it unto Him. In other words, serving Jesus Christ is serving others.

That is why God’s Love in us must dominate in word and in deed.

“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:17-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Without love, we can’t minister to anybody. That’s why by walking in love we offend no one, but minister to all.

Remember: true love for God, is serving others.

Practice ministering to Jesus Christ by serving others.
