-Food for thought day 175-

• Genesis 39:7-15
• Psalm‬ ‭139:21-22

When God’s Love is dominating you, it will cause you to run away from sin. A great example is Joseph, running away from Potiphar’s wife.

“On one of these days he came to the house to do his work and none of the household servants happened to be there. She grabbed him by his cloak, saying, “Sleep with me!” He left his coat in her hand and ran out of the house. When she realized that he had left his coat in her hand and run outside, she called to her house servants: “Look—this Hebrew shows up and before you know it he’s trying to seduce us. He tried to make love to me but I yelled as loud as I could. With all my yelling and screaming, he left his coat beside me here and ran outside.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭39:11-15‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Joseph did not sleep with her not because he was afraid to sin, but because of His love for God.

That is why David said: “Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And am I not grieved and do I not loathe those who rise up against You? I hate them with perfect hatred; they have become my enemies.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139:21-22‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

When you love God, you will automatically hate what He hates. This should be the only reason why you stay away from sinning.

Remember: Loving God is hating sin or running away from sin.

For love sake, run away from sin!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
