God’s Love is uncompromising. That is why our opinion about it does not matter. We as believers in Christ should not compromise our walk with God because we want to be accepted in this world.

The Love of God knows no compromise, that’s why it’s steadfast.

A great example is; the three Hebrew boys in the book of Daniel who refused to compromise their love for God, even though they were threatened with death.

“[Then] Nebuchadnezzar said to them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image which I have set up? Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, dulcimer or bagpipe, and every kind of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, very good. But if you do not worship, you shall be cast at once into the midst of a burning fiery furnace, and who is that god who can deliver you out of my hands? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, it is not necessary for us to answer you on this point. If our God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up! [Job 13:15; Acts 4:19, 20.]”

Their love for God was expressed in their uncompromising behavior, even in the face of death.

This is how we are supposed to love one another, uncompromisingly and demonstrate it to those who don’t know God. Even in the face of death, you should never compromise your love for God.

“And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].”

Are you a compromising believer in Christ?

Remember: God has not given us the spirit of compromise, but the Spirit of Love which is uncompromising.

God’s Love never compromises.
