-Food for thought day 173-

• John 20:1-17

We believers in Christ must be relentless in walking in God’s love. The love we received from God through His Spirit is relentless.

A great example of a relentless lover is the love Mary Magdalene had for Jesus. After Jesus died, she went to the tomb and could not find the body. However she stood at the tomb crying and being persistent and then Jesus revealed Himself to her.

“NOW ON the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been removed from (lifted out of the groove across the entrance of) the tomb.

But Mary remained standing outside the tomb sobbing. As she wept, she stooped down [and looked] into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they said to her, Woman, why are you sobbing? She told them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him. On saying this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing [there], but she did not know (recognize) that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, Woman, why are you crying [so]? For Whom are you looking? Supposing that it was the gardener, she replied, Sir, if you carried Him away from here, tell me where you have put Him and I will take Him away. Jesus said to her, Mary! Turning around she said to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni!–which means Teacher or Master.”
‭‭John‬ ‭20:1, 11-16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Her love for Christ was relentless and due to her persistent love, Jesus Christ had to reveal Himself to her first before ascending to the Father, as proof that the redemption price for mankind has been paid.

All the other apostles that came to the tomb left, but she stayed waiting until Jesus showed Himself to her.

The same way she was relentless is the same way God expects us to act when it comes to walking in love towards one another and to the unsaved.

God has given us the Spirit of Love and this Love in us is relentless. Thus, God’s Love is steadfast. Be a relentless lover of God and mankind.

Remember: God’s Love is relentless that’s why it’s always steadfast.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and Act!!!!!
