-Food for thought day 172-

• Matthew 8:1-3

God’s Love is always willing. We must be willing to always give a helping hand to those in need.

The Word of God says: “WHEN JESUS came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him. And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me. And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8:1-3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Jesus did not think when it came to helping someone or solving a problem for somebody, because He was The Solution to the need of mankind. He was ever ready to help. His Love for people was and is still unhesitant. That’s why two thousand years has passed since He died and arose from the dead, yet the door of salvation is still open to all who are willing to come to Him (Hebrew 9:12).

At the request of the man (Matthew 8:1-3), Jesus touched the man before He said “… I will be thou cleansed…” That speaks of His readiness or willingness to always help.

God Almighty gave us His Love so that we should be always willing or unhesitant to meet the needs of people.

That’s why His Love is steadfast (Lamentation 3:22-23).

Are you always willing to help?

Remember: Love is unhesitant and is always willing to meet the needs of the needy.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
