Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
2 Samuel 13-17

-Food for thought day 164-

• Acts 2:44-47
• Galatians 5:22
• Romans 5:5

It’s always good to share with those in need. God chooses to share His only Son with the world for Love sake (John 3:16-17).

When the church was born, one of the unique characteristics that was visible among the brethren was sharing. The reason being is that the Spirit of Love in their hearts dominated them and compelled them to share.

They did not just receive power when the Holy Spirit came (Acts 1:8), but they also manifested the Fruit the Holy Spirit produced through them which is Love (Galatians 5:22; Romans 5:5). As a result of this great Fruit, they were willing to share with one another what was lacking in their faith or lives practically.

That is why the Word of God says: “And all who believed (who adhered to and trusted in and relied on Jesus Christ) were united and [together] they had everything in common; And they sold their possessions (both their landed property and their movable goods) and distributed the price among all, according as any had need. And day after day they regularly assembled in the temple with united purpose, and in their homes they broke bread [including the Lord’s Supper]. They partook of their food with gladness and simplicity and generous hearts, Constantly praising God and being in favor and goodwill with all the people; and the Lord kept adding [to their number] daily those who were being saved [from spiritual death].”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:44-47‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

When you’re dominated by the Love of God you always are willing to share what you have with someone in need.

Remember: Love is ever ready to share. And you must not only share with someone because you have an overflow or know them, but you do it because you know Love is a giver.

Be willing to share and by doing so, you shift from being a liability to an asset in God’s Kingdom.

Choose daily to be an added value.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
