-Food for thought day 161-

• Matthew 18:15-17

We are called to walk in God’s Love. This does not mean we should take those who show us love for granted.

That is why Jesus said:
“If your brother wrongs you, go and show him his fault, between you and him privately. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. But if he does not listen, take along with you one or two others, so that every word may be confirmed and upheld by the testimony of two or three witnesses. If he pays no attention to them [refusing to listen and obey], tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a pagan and a tax collector. [Lev. 19:17; Deut. 19:15.]”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:15-17‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

We should never take it for granted when we receive love from people. Taking people for granted means: keep offending your helpers because you know they will forgive you anyway.

Therefore, because God wants to keep you from the spirit of offence. He told you to separate yourself from such one and treat such as an infidel.

Remember: God’s Love should never be taken for granted.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
