The proof that we love God is in our giving. Your giving is a reflection of your love for God and people.

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.”

God demonstrated His love for the world by giving His very best for us. His heart was exposed by His giving.

Your love for God and His Kingdom is equivalent to your givings to support the work of The Kingdom. And it also tells you where your heart is. In other words, your giving to God’s Kingdom is a reflection of the state of your heart.

“Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can’t go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bankrobbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.”

You can know the state of your heart based on where you spend most of your income. In other words, if you spend more on your agenda than God’s, it’s a sign you’re selfish and your love for God is carnal.

Remember, the proof for your love for God is in where you give or spend the most of your income.

I know it’s hard to swallow, but from the beginning, God demonstrated His love for Adam by placing him in a flourished place called the garden of Eden. His love for Adam was demonstrated by His giving.
