One of the reasons why many believers can’t deal with demons, is the lack of love towards one another. When you don’t walk in God’s love, you are not keeping His commandments and also, you don’t submit to the authority of His Word.

“Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Without submitting to God and His Word, you can’t deal with demon spirits or resist them.

The Word of God says: “So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Therefore, walking in God’s love is submitting under God’s authority.
