-Food for thought day 112-

• 1 Corinthians 13:7
• Isaiah 53:3-6

The reason why we complain while giving someone a helping hand is because we function from self-effort, not in God’s grace and love.

The Bible says: “Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

This was the same reason why Jesus could endure such a contradiction against Himself to secure a new destiny for us all.

The Bible says: “He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him. Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. [Matt. 8:17.] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has made to light upon Him the guilt and iniquity of us all. [I Pet. 2:24, 25.]”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3-6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Jesus Christ carried all our sins on Himself to make sure we’re free. He demonstrated His love for us by carrying our load on Himself. It’s on this same note that Mary Magdalene was not bothered to carry the body of Jesus alone when she went looking for Him in the tomb where they laid Him and where she could not find Him.

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.”
‭‭John‬ ‭20:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Therefore, walking in God’s love will cause you not to feel the load of the problems you’re solving or about to solve.

Remember, God’s love does not feel the load, that’s why it bears hope and endures all things.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
