Bible Study Plan 2020
Today we read:
-Food for thought 2020 day 59-
Scripture of meditation:
• John 16:13
The Spirit of God guides you through your recreated spirit. That is why you must practice listening to what The Holy Spirit is witnessing to your spirit and learn to pay attention to the voice of your spirit called conscience.
The Word of God says:
“But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].”
John 16:13 AMPC
Therefore train your spirit man in the things of the Spirit: meditate, practice, give the Word of God the first place in your life and then follow the voice of your spirit in every occasion or circumstance you face in life. By doing so, it will be very easy for you to be guided by the Holy Spirit.
Your heart has the power and ability to communicate and has a will of its own; that is why it accuses you or excuses you in your actions. It gives you the confidence needed to serve God. That is why it’s your duty to make sure your heart is pure towards God.
“And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God, And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.”
1 John 3:21-22 AMPC
Remember: our receiving from God is tied to the state of our heart and conscience.
Have a pure heart before God and men!
Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
