Bible Study Plan 2020

Today we read:
Revelation 6-9

-Food for thought 2020 day 58-

Scripture of meditation:
• 1 John 3:20-21

The Lord will also guide you through your inward voice called the conscience.

A grand example in God’s Word:

“And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:3-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If you noticed, it was not Jesus Christ that drove them away, but their own conscience convicted and caused them to drop the charges they had against the lady; they could identify themselves with the lady’s condition.

Sometimes God will guide you through the inner conviction of your recreated spirit.

That’s why the Word of God says:

“For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The conditions of your heart determine your confidence towards God.

Remember: the state of your heart determines the leadings of His Spirit in your life.

Make it a practice to have a heart full of confidence towards God!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
