-Food for thought 2020 day 36-

Scripture of meditation:
• Joshua 1:8

It is very vital that you practice training your spirit to respond to the Holy Spirit; that is why it is important you feed on the Word of God.

The question is: “How do you feed on God’s Word”?

Answer: through meditation; that is, you read it, think about it, talk to yourself about it and finally act it out.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭1:1-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When you practice meditating on God’s Word you will prosper in your spirit, soul, and body and you will also have good success.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

This is one of the ways to train your human spirit to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leadings.

Remember: you are what you meditate on. Therefore you will always act in the direction of your meditation.

Meditate on God’s Word!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
