Today we read:
1 Corinthians 6-10

-Food for thought 2020 Day 198-

Scripture of meditation:
• Deuteronomy 29:9

“Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭29:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When you understand what covenant entails, then you will never question God about your promotion. When we learn to stick to covenant agreements with God, promotion is inevitable.

The reason why David trusted God so much, saw Him as his Shepherd and proclaim that only God’s goodness and mercy will follow him is because he knew God as a covenant keeper.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:1, 6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That is why it was so easy for him to yield to God, knowing that in his yielding to the covenant principles, God that promotes, will ensure that he experienced promotion.

That is why the Word of the Lord says:

“The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭25:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we have holy reference towards God, He will reveal covenant secrets which will enhance our promotion.

Remember: yielding to God’s Word which is a contract automatically gives birth to our promotion.

I pray for you to always have a willing heart to yield to God’s Spirit.
