-Food for thought 2020 Day 112-

Scripture of meditation:
• James 1:2-4

“We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭GNB‬‬

It’s important for us as believers in Christ to know we’re never in the disadvantaged, irrespective of the adverse circumstances in our lives. God will always turn satanic onslaught against us to work for our good. That is why we must look beyond the circumstances and focus on what God wants to produce in our lives. The message received in every circumstance is what God produces out from us.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:2-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God uses our circumstances to help us learn to function in patience and grow to maturity. In circumstances, He will imprint things in us that we have to work on or do. It may be directly or indirectly related to us.

The Word of God for example says:

“For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but Satan blocked our way.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Now Paul intended to go minister to Thessalonica but satan hindered him. Irrespective of what happened, God inspired Paul to write the book of Thessalonians. A book was produced out of Paul through averted circumstances.

For this reason, the Word of God says:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Remember: God can also use your circumstances to speak to you.

Relook your circumstances and you will hear God’s voice right in the midst of it.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
