-Food for thought 2020 day 111-

Scripture of meditation:
• Romans 8:28

God can also communicate to us through the circumstances we go through in life. A great example is Joseph.

“Now do not be upset or blame yourselves because you sold me here. It was really God who sent me ahead of you to save people’s lives. This is only the second year of famine in the land; there will be five more years in which there will be neither ploughing nor reaping. God sent me ahead of you to rescue you in this amazing way and to make sure that you and your descendants survive. So it was not really you who sent me here, but God. He has made me the king’s highest official. I am in charge of his whole country; I am the ruler of all Egypt.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭45:5-8‬ ‭GNB‬‬

Please, to get the full picture you should read Genesis 37-50. There is nothing that happens without God’s knowledge. Even when circumstances block what you perceive to be God’s will, God is still in control. God can take any deed whether satan or man and use it for His own purpose. Even though the man or satan is not in His plan, He permits certain events to take place in your life to glorify His Name. If you relook your circumstances you will learn something out of it.

Hence, the Word of God says :

“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

A word of caution here; you should not go about fulfilling your own wishes and bring problems to yourself, and say that God will use it to communicate to you. That was not the case of Joseph; if you love God you will go after His will and no matter how satan or man trying to manipulate or have his way in God’s plan, it will work together for your good.

Remember: God can also use circumstances to communicate to you.

God is in control, trust Him!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
