And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.” Acts 8:1 KJV

Many are losing sight because of trials they are facing in their lives and in this world. God Almighty wants us to testify in the midst of confusion and trials. That’s why we’re here.

These tests and trials are satanic schemes to distract us from reaching out. We must always know that Jesus Christ our Lord came to a sinful world and went through all the challenges that we are facing. yet none of it stopped Him from preaching the gospel.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15 KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Johannes 3:16 KJV

All what is in this world is evil. So we should not think preaching the gospel will always be nice and cozy. The enemy uses these trials to distract us from the call of great commission. Just as the apostles of old and the disciples of Jesus Christ did not stop preaching due to persecutions we can’t stop also. These trials should not be a news to us because we were told.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 KJV

So be comforted today and keep preaching the gospel despite the challenges you’re facing in your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me through your Spirit not to lose sight of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in the midst of persecutions in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
