Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16 AMP
Most children of God lack wisdom, because they refuse to study God’s Word. So they end up making emotional decisions. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is made unto us, born again Christians, wisdom. And Jesus Christ is the Word of God. So we can miss out a lot in wisdom when we choose not to study the Word.
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6.]” John 1:1 AMP
But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin]. ” 1 Corinthians 1:30 AMP
So get wiser today as you study God’s Word in Jesus Christ mighty name.
