And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life”. Mark 10:29‭-‬30 KJV

Jesus Christ our Lord includes persecutions as part of the package of being His disciple. It’s appointed unto us to share in the suffering of Jesus Christ for this is acceptable and pleasing to God Almighty.

[After all] what kind of glory [is there in it] if, when you do wrong and are punished for it, you take it patiently? But if you bear patiently with suffering [which results] when you do right and that is undeserved, it is acceptable and pleasing to God”. 1 Peter 2:20 AMP

Furthermore, He did not stop by telling us including persecution but in the beatitude He told us the reward to suffer for His name.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 5:10‭-‬12 KJV

There is  reward in Heaven for being persecuted in Jesus Christ mighty name.
