My son, do not despise or shrink from the chastening of the Lord [His correction by punishment or by subjection to suffering or trial]; neither be weary of or impatient about or loathe or abhor His reproof, [Ps. 94:12; Heb. 12:5, 6; Rev. 3:19.] For whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delight”. Proverbs 3:11‭-‬12 AMP

The motive of satan behind every trial we go through is destruction and God’s purpose is to train us and to cause us to yield a peaceable fruit of righteousness by His Holy Spirit. This fruit of righteousness enables us to live right in His presence and in this world, and it also realigns us to His plan and purpose for our lives.

For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness–in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God]”. Hebrews 12:11 AMP

Furthermore, these trials are there to train us to reign with Christ Jesus.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Thank you for using the trials in my life to cause me to realign to Your plans and purpose for my life Jesus Christ in mighty name. Amen
