Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last.” Luke 23:46 NLT

Most of the reason why we struggle is our inability to surrender all or commit ourselves to the Father of all spirits, God Almighty.

This is Jesus Christ our Lord even to the point of his biggest battle He did not try to prove His point or pretend as if all is well or try to fix  what He was going through on the cross, but He surrendered ALL to God Almighty. The one who has the power to bring back to life or restore that which the enemy stole.

The reason why we are still dealing with a persistent situation is due the fact that we don’t know how to surrender it to God.

Also is not All the things that are happening to you is the devil. Sometimes the cause of our problem is our pride. The inability to accept we can’t carry on anymore on our own and ask the Helping hand of God by Surrendering ourselves to Him like Jesus Christ our Lord.

And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,” Philippians 2:8-9 AMP

The cross was not a place for Jesus to prove His point, but it was a place of humility and absolute surrender.

Whenever we are going through challenges or trying times, God Almighty can only turn the situation around through humility.

The Bible says “…. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)–[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble.”[Prov. 3:34.]

The proud in this text is linked to satan. Because he rules over the prideful. So God Almighty resists the works of satan against us because it exposes satan’s pride. The humble in this text are the children of God Almighty. That’s why instead of being prideful, surrender to God Almighty by humbling yourself.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. I thank You and praise for all in my life. I surrender my all to You. And I asked You to glorify the name of Your Holy Child Jesus the Christ in my life. AMEN.
