“And the word of the Lord came to him: Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you. So he arose and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand. And she said, As the Lord your God lives, I have not a loaf baked but only a handful of meal in the jar and a little oil in the bottle. See, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it–and die. Elijah said to her, Fear not; go and do as you have said. But make me a little cake of [it] first and bring it to me, and afterward prepare some for yourself and your son. For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: The jar of meal shall not waste away or the bottle of oil fail until the day that the Lord sends rain on the earth. She did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days.”
‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭17:8-15‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

What will you do, if you are asked to give your last dime to help someone or support the kingdom work when you have your own personal bills to handle.

The first thing that may happen in your mind is , I will not do it . Because you are afraid of what will happen if you do and also, your focus is on your present circumstances.

There is no need to fear or doubt because God’s Word came for a purpose and plan to give you a picture of what God wants to do.

“………Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20:20‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

This woman had her last meal for she and her son to eat and die but she obeyed the word of the Lord and her situation was turn around.

Fear is one of the spirit that fought many people not to do what God is asking them to do because they are uncertain of the outcome. The reason why God gives us His Word is to remove fear and doubt from our hearts and mind. It is what God says that will change our circumstances not by worrying or being fearful.

God wants us to focus our faith on His Word not on our circumstances. As a matter of fact the Word of God is given to us because we are weak and go through challenges, so that God’s Word becomes our strength and solution to our problems.

Today, there to believe God for the impossible and obey His word just like the Widow of Zarephath with an Holy expectation from God. I guarantee you in Jesus name that your expectation will not be cut off.

May God Almighty supernaturally supply your needs as you obey and lean on the faithfulness of His word.

Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father thank You for Your Word. I arrest fear and doubt and help me by Your Spirit to always obey You even if it doesn’t make sense in Jesus name. Amen
