God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).” John 4:24 AMPC

Our relationship with God Almighty through Jesus Christ by the inward working of the Holy Spirit is spiritual. It is a spiritual experience that makes an impact on our mind and body. Most people find it difficult to put themselves in this position. One of the ways we do this is by being obedient to God’s word.

The word of the Lord told us to serve God in the Spirit.

For God is my witness, Whom I serve with my [whole] spirit [rendering priestly and spiritual service] in [preaching] the Gospel and [telling] the good news of His Son, how incessantly I always mention you when at my prayers.” Romans 1:9 AMPC

So serving God in the Spirit, which is a form of worship, is by obeying God’s word and doing what He requires from us. That’s is one of the ways we magnify our relationship with God Almighty.
