Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
Numbers 10-11

-Food for thought day 79-

• Luke 3:19
• John 15:18-25

Truth buried in the ground will always rise up. Jesus was killed for being the Truth but after three days, He arose with the keys of victory over hell and the grave.

“Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.”
‭‭
Whenever we stand for the truth, we should expect persecution. It should not be anything new for us because Jesus Christ and many saints of old were persecuted for the same reason. God guarantees deliverance for all sought of persecution but He did not say that we will not experience them.

“If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.”

We should never compromise God’s standards to fit in the status of our society. And also know we win by standing and speaking the Truth of God’s Word daily. Just as Jesus came out of hell and the grave victorious, so will become of us as we remain in the truth.

“If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.”

We’re of the Truth and we should learn to speak God’s truth in love to all we are assigned to. That is how we let our light shine in this dark world.

“Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”

Today, be bold and come out of your hiding place by speaking the truth in love to someone in darkness.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
