Leviticus 25-26
Mark 16
Psalms 33:1-11

-Food for thought day 71-

• 1 John 5:4
• Luke 6:12-13

We are not the children of error but of success. The Bible says we are of God. That means we carry His genetics. We know God never makes mistakes and as His children, we are not called unto error but unto success.

The Word of God says: “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.”
‭‭
The word ”victory” in this text implies success and the text “even our faith” implies Jesus, Who is our faith. That means, to avoid errors in our lives, we must believe in what Jesus has already accomplished on our behalf. Also, we must learn to get God involved in all we do and seek His counsel before we take any action.

That is why Jesus never did anything without seeking God’s face. As a matter of fact, prayer accompanied anything He does.

He did all this to avoid making mistakes.

“Now in those days it occurred that He went up into a mountain to pray, and spent the whole night in prayer to God. And when it was day, He summoned His disciples and selected from them twelve, whom He named apostles (special messengers):”
‭‭
We can see from our text that Jesus could not choose His disciples without seeking God’s face. The many mistakes we have made in our lives is because we refuse to engage God in what we do and refuse to seek His counsel.

We all must decide to avoid mistakes in our lives. And learn to engage God in our daily activities before doing them. So that whatever we do, we know God is leading us to do it. As long as God is involved we know the error is far away from us.

Let us all practice seeking God’s mind in all we do before doing them.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
