There are many believers who are very surprised when they find out, that the ones opposing them are from their earthly background. Jesus said that this is a sign of the end time.

“And brother will hand over brother to death, and the father his child; and children will take a stand against their parents and [have] them put to death. And you will be hated and detested by everybody for My name’s sake, but he who patiently perseveres and endures to the end will be saved (made a partaker of the salvation by Christ, and delivered from spiritual death).”

That is why we must intercede for our families daily that the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ will shine in their darkness. Also, that the enemy will not use them as his gate to attack our household.

“When the strong man, fully armed, [from his courtyard] guards his own dwelling, his belongings are undisturbed [his property is at peace and is secure]. But when one stronger than he attacks him and conquers him, he robs him of his whole armor on which he had relied and divides up and distributes all his goods as plunder (spoil).”

Remember, we are God’s priest to our families. One of the things priest do is to intercede. The future of our families is in our hands. As long as we know how to move God’s hand in prayer to change every challenging circumstance in our families.

Take your place in your family and begin to invite God’s hand to turn things around for good in Jesus’ Name.
