Exodus 21-22
Mark 3
Proverbs 5:1-14

-Food for thought day 48-

• Exodus 15:22-26

When the children of Israel left Egypt on their way to the promise land, they came across bitter water which they could not drink. They cried unto Moses who prayed to God; and He was directed to a tree and was instructed to cast it into the water and the water became sweet for consumption.

The world is a symbol for the bitter water and Jesus is the tree of life. Jesus was cast into the world to remove from this world that which has caused the life of humanity to be bitter, so that it can turn into sweet.

It doesn’t matter what may be wrong with your life.
The Word of God says: “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”
‭‭
Just as the Lord promised the children of Israel total healing as they obey God. It’s the same with Jesus in this world to all who will obey and trust in Him for deliverance, He will turn bitter water in the life of the people to sweet.

The Bible says: “… whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be save…”.

It’s about time we trust Jesus with our personal challenges, so that He will turn it from bitterness into sweet.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
