Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
Malachi 1-2

-Food for thought day 314-

•‭‭ Isaiah‬ ‭11:2‬
• Matthew 26:39

Love is a vital tool when it comes to making decisions, especially when others are involved.

Jesus Christ came down from heaven to earth to show us how to interact with all men, having the Spirit without measure (John 3:34).

The Word of God says:
“And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him–the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord–”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

And yet for the sake of the ignorance of the falling man, Jesus reduced Himself to nothing and put His own priorities aside to minister to man. In other words: For love’s sake, He denied Himself from what He would have loved to do and chose to please God Who sent Him to finish the work.

That is why the Word of God says:
“And going a little farther, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:39‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The more you know God, the more you are careful in your actions not to affect the consciences of the weaker brethren in the faith.

It was for the sake of love (John 3:16) that Jesus came, died and resurrected to bring man to His realm. We must do the same, in order for us to bring the weaker brethren and those who do not know Christ to where we’re now in our faith walk in Christ.

Remember: God’s will is that through His love, many will come to the faith of Jesus Christ.

Let God’s love keep steering your boat!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and Act!!!!!
