Love does not prostitute! Whenever you have another agenda above God’s for your life, that’s spiritual prostitution. The Bible calls you double-minded and unstable.
When God delivered the children of Israel from Egypt He said: “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord]. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.”

In other words, God is looking for our undivided loyalty to Him. It will be strange to get married to someone who cheats on you or who adulterate with other people.
Nowadays, many idolize themselves; that means they have magnified their own agenda above that of God’s. This is what the Bible calls ”prostitution”, because you’re born again to be loyal to God Almighty for the rest of your life on earth and in heaven.
The reason why God said in His Word: “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord]. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.”

“And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.”
Zechariah 14:9 KJV
Is because He is truly the only God and He did not want them to be confused like the Egyptians who worshipped many gods who were not God.
“WOE TO those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses and trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen, because they are very strong, but they look not to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek and consult the Lord!
Now the Egyptians were men and not God, and their horses were of flesh and not of the spirit; when the Lord stretches out His hand, both [Egypt] who helps will stumble, and [Judah] who is helped will fall, and they will all perish and be consumed together.”
Isaiah 31:1, 3 AMPC
Apostles Paul by the Holy Spirit said: “For I am zealous for you with a godly eagerness and a divine jealousy, for I have betrothed you to one Husband, to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. [Hos. 2:19, 20.] But [now] I am fearful, lest that even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, so your minds may be corrupted and seduced from wholehearted and sincere and pure devotion to Christ. [Gen. 3:4.]”

In other words, Paul was saying as a lover of Christ stay loyal to Him, refuse to be distracted or allow your love for Him and His business to grow cold. Stop focusing on other things that will not last and can’t sustain you!
Remember: love does not practice prostitution!
Stay loyal to the One who gave His life for you. That is true love.
