Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
Isaiah 20-21
2 Corinthians 13

-Food for thought day 253-

• Act 2:42
• Acts 4:28-35

The lack of unity in the spirit among believers in Christ is due to the lack of love. The early church succeeded in reaching the entire world with the gospel, because of their love for one another; that love gave birth to unity and caused them to make a huge impact in this world in their time.

“And they steadfastly persevered, devoting themselves constantly to the instruction and fellowship of the apostles, to the breaking of bread [including the Lord’s Supper] and prayers.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:42‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Their love for one another made them carry the burdens of one another in so much, that they shared their problems and all that they had.

“And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to Your bond servants [full freedom] to declare Your message fearlessly, While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage. Now the company of believers was of one heart and soul, and not one of them claimed that anything which he possessed was [exclusively] his own, but everything they had was in common and for the use of all. And with great strength and ability and power the apostles delivered their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace (loving-kindness and favor and goodwill) rested richly upon them all. Nor was there a destitute or needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses proceeded to sell them, and one by one they brought (gave back) the amount received from the sales And laid it at the feet of the apostles (special messengers). Then distribution was made according as anyone had need.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭4:29-35‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Remember: Love is the key to unity.

When we practice loving each other as Christ loves us, then being united will not be an issue to discuss about.

Keep having fervent love for one another.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
