Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
Isaiah 14-15
2 Corinthians 7-8

-Food for thought day 250-

• Philippians 1:9
•‭‭ Romans‬ ‭8:35-39‬

As a believer in Christ, you are to increase continually in the Love of God.

“And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love may display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment],”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The question is: ”how do we grow in God’s Love?”

Answer: “Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter. [Ps. 44:22.] Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans‬ ‭8:35-39‬ ‭AMPC‬‬).”

Although, our above text implies that we go through the light afflictions in Christ, God uses it to cause us to grow in His Love for humanity. Every time someone treats us awkwardly, and we still choose to love them and pray for their forgiveness, we grow in the power of God’s Love.

Remember: Love is of the heart, it’s affecting our soul and body.

Grow in love!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
