Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
1 Chronicles 25-26
1 Corinthians 5-6

-Food for thought day 219-

•‭‭ Luke‬ ‭4:18
• 2 Corinthians 9:13-14

Jesus Christ came to minister to the less privileged by demonstrating His Love in a practical way.

Thus the Word of God says: “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The reason why Jesus ministered to the needy is that He wanted them to be made whole. Also, this group of people in the text above are the ones who will always cherish our services and pray genuinely for us in time of need, because they cannot pay us back.

Furthermore, It takes compassion to minister to people, especially when you know that only God can reward you for your labour of love.
However, the Word of God says: “Because at [your] standing of the test of this ministry, they will glorify God for your loyalty and obedience to the Gospel of Christ which you confess, as well as for your generous-hearted liberality to them and to all [the other needy ones]. And they yearn for you while they pray for you, because of the surpassing measure of God’s grace (His favor and mercy and spiritual blessing which is shown forth) in you.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:13-14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

In other words, ministering in love to the needy is a sign that you’re fulfilling your ministry reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18).

Though not all will appreciate your seed of love to them, but there will always be someone that is too grateful for your love and will cry unto God on your behalf for your life. And for the sake of that one person, never stop doing good.

Remember: every little service you render to anyone, you are doing it unto the Lord.

The seeds you sow today will surely be harvested tomorrow.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and act!!!!
