• Psalms 34:7
• Exodus 23:20-23

Our obedience towards God always sends a message to our enemies. As soon as Jacob chose to obey God by setting his house in order, the terror of God came upon his enemies and they could do him no harm.

The Word of God says: ”The angel of the Lord guards and rescues all who reference or fear God…”

His Word also says: “His angel will go before us as we obey His voice…”

I so much believe that the moment Jacob chose to reference God by throwing away their idols and putting off their old garments and return to the place of consecration (Bethel), angels were released to put fear on their enemies. In other words, obedience releases angelic activities around us for our good.

For this reason our adversary fights to make sure we do not heed to God’s instruction, because he knows it attracts God’s presence and angels.

Whenever we are obeying God, His ministering spirits are released not only to minister to us but to also run errands on our behalf.

Remember it’s His presence in and on our lives that separates us from the man who has not yet come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We should not choke the presence of God in and upon our lives through disobedience. Some of our angels are on a stand still due to compromising lifestyle.

Let’s choose to walk in absolute obedience to God’s instruction, so that God’s favour and doors of opportunity will stay open before us in Jesus’ Name.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
