-Food for thought day 196-

• 1 Corinthians 13:6-7
•‭‭ Malachi‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭

It’s very difficult naturally speaking to love someone who always does wrong. It’s easy to quit on such a one than to endure with the person. At some point, you can even feel justified with your reaction towards the person and you can also justify your course with scriptures by saying: “it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

That is one aspect of love, but you should also know that love bears all things and does not change its attitude of loving people despite their character.

You must be very careful not to allow the wrong attitude in people’s lives to affect you mentally and emotionally. For this is the trick of the devil to hamper your relationship with God. You must stick to the Word and still choose to walk in love, irrespective of the attitude of the person.
It’s for this reason that the Word of God says: “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

God’s Love for this evil world has not changed. His focus is still on the sinners in this world, calling them for repentance.

“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.”
‭‭Malachi‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

You are Christ’s representative. That is why your attitude towards people must be a direct reflection of Christ. When people see you, they should see Christ in you.

Remember: although love does not rejoice in wrongdoing, love however does endure. Hope and believe the best out of everything.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
