Love does not carry hatred or bitterness to a new day but deals with the issue the same day.

The Word of God says: “If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.”

The Bible says: “……love does not keep the score of sins of others.” In other words, it doesn’t carry the evil done to it over to the next day.

That is why God’s Word says: “Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry—but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:26-27‬ ‭MSG‬‬

The truth is, being angry or bitter ends up affecting you more than the person you’re angry with. Being angry or bitter also affects your moments of fellowship with God.

The question is: why would you want to jeopardize your relationship with God because of anger or bitterness?!

“Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Don’t be a fool, be wise!

Remember: love doesn’t carry anger or bitterness to a new day.
