God’s Love is inflexible. When someone is inflexible that means it’s impossible to bend the person to the opposite direction of his or her will.

For example, God’s Love for the world has not changed irrespective of all the evil in it. That means God has determined to love you and those who don’t know Jesus Christ no matter what.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”

Thus, as believers in Christ, our love for one another and those who don’t know Jesus Christ ought to be inflexible.

Our love for people should not be based on their character or what they are able to do for us. But it should be based on God’s inflexibility of His Love that does not change when people change. When we allow people’s attitude to determine our love for them, it means we’re flexible when it comes to loving people and our love is not steadfast.

“Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath. This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us].”

God purposed in Himself to love and that same Love is given to you so that you can also determine to love, knowing God’s Love for you or worldly people is not based on their standards of love, but on His immeasurable Love (Ephesians 3:18-19).

That means God has purposed in Himself to love people and refuse to change because it’s His nature and it’s also a covenant.

It’s about time we gird the loins of our minds when it comes to walking in God’s Love.

Remember: God’s Love is inflexible that’s why it’s steadfast.

Be inflexible when it comes to loving people.
