Psalms 53

-Food for thought day 117-

• 1 Peter 4:9
• 1 Corinthians 13:4

Endurance without grumbling is the key to the throne. It’s one thing to endure, but it’s another thing to grumble in your heart while enduring.

“Practice hospitality to one another (those of the household of faith). [Be hospitable, be a lover of strangers, with brotherly affection for the unknown guests, the foreigners, the poor, and all others who come your way who are of Christ’s body.] And [in each instance] do it ungrudgingly (cordially and graciously, without complaining but as representing Him).”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Love does not complain while helping others or get grumpy in trials. If we say we are kind, patient and still complain in our hearts in the process of helping someone or in trying times: that is not walking in love, but that is just putting up appearances for human compliments. God looks at our hearts in all we do, more than our outward expressions. That’s why He loves a cheerful giver. We must learn to function from a cheerful heart, when it comes to walking in love.

Our kindness and patience goes together with a cheerful heart.

“Love endures long and is patient and kind; …….”
1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

It’s about time we walk in love with a cheerful heart and not out of compulsion to please men or for eyes service.

We should stop deceiving ourselves!!!!!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and Act!!!
