• Psalm 18:28

The reason why you must learn to train your spirit in God and follow your conscience which is the voice of your spirit is that God enlightens your darkness through your spirit.

“For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.”

“You have turned on my light! The Lord my God has made my darkness turn to light.”
Psalm 18:28 TLB

Your spirit is like a candle that must be lighted by the Holy Spirit, in order for your entire being (soul and body) to be illuminated. Without that, it’s difficult to follow God. That is the reason why you must learn to follow the voice of your spirit called conscience.

God will always guide you through your spirit. He bears witness with your spirit and not your soul.

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For his Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts and tells us that we really are God’s children.”
Romans 8:16 TLB

Remember: God will always minister to you from inside out, not outside in. That is from the spirit to the soul to the body, not the other way around.
