Bible Study Plan 2020

Today we read:
Revelation 3-5

-Food for thought 2020 day 57-

Scripture of meditation:
• Acts 2:37

The inward voice called the conscience easily responds to God’s Word and convicts you when God’s Word is being preached.

That is why the Word of God says:

“Whenever our hearts in [tormenting] self-accusation make us feel guilty and condemn us. [For we are in God’s hands.] For He is above and greater than our consciences (our hearts), and He knows (perceives and understands) everything [nothing is hidden from Him]. And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God,”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

A great example is in Acts 2:14-41 (Please read the entire chapter).

The Word of God says:

“Now when they heard this they were stung (cut) to the heart, and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles (special messengers), Brethren, what shall we do? And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, [even] to and for as many, as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself. [Isa. 57:19; Joel 2:32.] And [Peter] solemnly and earnestly witnessed (testified) and admonished (exhorted) with much more continuous speaking and warned (reproved, advised, encouraged) them, saying, Be saved from this crooked (perverse, wicked, unjust) generation. Therefore those who accepted and welcomed his message were baptized, and there were added that day about 3,000 souls.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:37-41‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

After Peter’s sermon, they were pricked in their hearts; that was the voice of their own spirit convicting them through the power of the Holy Spirit in the Word being preached. And 3000 souls were added unto the Church.

For this reason, the Word of God says:

“Whenever our hearts in [tormenting] self-accusation make us feel guilty and condemn us. [For we are in God’s hands.] For He is above and greater than our consciences (our hearts), and He knows (perceives and understands) everything [nothing is hidden from Him].”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Therefore, the voice of your spirit called the inward voice will help you act, talk and move right with God; because it’s always in fellowship with the Holy Spirit; thus, it’s one with the Spirit of God.

The Word of God says:

“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Learn to train your recreated spirit in Christ and in the things of God, so that your conscience will be a safe guide.

Remember: your conscience will always respond to God’s Word.

Exercise yourself unto godliness!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
