BE MERCIFUL and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refuge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed. I will cry to God Most High, Who performs on my behalf and rewards me [Who brings to pass His purposes for me and surely completes them]! He will send from heaven and save me from the slanders and reproaches of him who would trample me down or swallow me up, and He will put him to shame. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! God will send forth His mercy and loving-kindness and His truth and faithfulness. My life is among lions; I must lie among those who are aflame–the sons of men whose teeth are spears and arrows, their tongues sharp swords. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let Your glory be over all the earth!” Psalm 57:1-5 AMPC

This is the prayer of David in persecution and being threatened to death by king Saul. David did not magnify the problem but He magnify the Almightiness of God and asked the Father to be glorified and exalted in the midst of His challenges .

Today all the evil that has tried to destroy you God Almighty will turn the captivity around and will cause it to work together for your good because you love God and you’re serving His purpose.

This is the hour of giving glory to God just like David for He take delight in performing His promises in our lives by glorifying His name.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.” John 12:23 KJV

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. Thank for being my promise keeper and my deliverer. I give You all praise and glory. You are worthy to be praise in Jesus name. Amen
