Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized, and [while He was still] praying, the [visible] heaven was opened And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven, saying, You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am well pleased and find delight! [Ps. 2:7; Isa. 42:1.]” Luke 3:21-22 AMPC

The secret of Christ walking in victory in His earth walk is the Holy Spirit.  Without the Holy Spirit Jesus could not perform no miracle.

The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],” Luke 4:18 AMPC

How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38 AMPC

He was anointed to do the will of God or the works of God. We all got acquainted with the Holy Spirit when we got born-again.

For by [means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:13 AMPC

And as we practice praying in the Spirit the Holy will anoint us to walk in victory over all the power of the enemy and we will do the same works Jesus did and even more.

Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38 AMPC

As we practice praying in the Spirit God will constantly anoint us to walk in victory. We are not born again to experience an up and down life. Our walk with God is upward. That’s why praying constantly in the Spirit is very necessary for our daily living.

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Today I am walking in power and total victory because Greater is He that is in Me than he  that is in the world in Jesus name. Amen.
