And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.” Romans 8:17 AMPC

Suffering for the gospel is part of the package of walking in victory. Now we go through trying times, that does not nullify the fact that Christ is risen. As a matter of fact it is through this trying times that we experience the resurrection power of Christ at work in our lives.

If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny and disown and reject Him, He will also deny and disown and reject us.” 2 Timothy 2:12 AMPC

God has given us the ability to endure trials and prevail. That’s why we should not shrink back. The devil uses our circumstances to put us in a spiritually weakened position, but God uses it to glorify His name by causing us to experience the victory we already have in Christ.

That’s why the book of Hebrew admonishes us to look unto Jesus not our circumstances.

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Ps. 110:1.] Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.” Hebrews 12:2‭-‬3 AMPC

Today focus on the victory by looking unto Jesus. Don’t be distracted stay focus by constantly praying in the Holy Spirit.

Remember we are not trying to win we are winners in Christ Jesus.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Thank You that my victory in Christ is a guarantee. I am not moved by what I feel, see or the circumstances that surround me I am moved by God’s word. Your word says You will help me, support me and never let go of me. Thank You Lord for always helping and supporting me and I am not afraid what man can do to me in Jesus name. Amen.
