Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14 AMP

God can only Father us with our cooperation. He will never make us do anything when we don’t want to.

So unless our interest is in line with God’s interest for us it makes it difficult for us to enjoy communion with the Holy Spirit. Someone says well God is so powerful, He can change me and force me into fellowship  if he wants to. Well he already did by given you His nature. But it was still our willingness to surrender to the call of salvation, so that we can have fellowship with Him. And it is still our choice to cherish His friendship with us, because we all have a will of our own.

Moreover, if God was making people to do stuff without their cooperation the whole world would have been born again in a day and that makes Him a dictator without given us (Human being ) the choice to make our decision. But we all must be willing to heed to what He tells us to do through His Spirit.

Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed?” Amos 3:3 AMP

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Help me by Your Spirit to line up my interest to Yours in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
