What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true. I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.” Job 3:25-26 NLT

Here we see the life of a righteous man who came under satanic attack as a result of what he was afraid of. (Read Job 1-3)

Job was taken captive by his own words. And the protection over his life was taking out. (Read Job 3)

Whenever you are under anxiety attacks, satan knows that you are protected by God. Satan also knows that the only way in which he can defeat you is when you open your mouth and speak in contrast to God’s word for your life.

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” Proverbs 6:2 KJV

So Job own mouth entrapped him and his fears came to pass because he agreed with his anxiety. Job so much magnified what was happening around, more than the bigness of God. So his fear came to pass.

Now in Jeremiah 39:15-18, please read and to be precise verses 17 and 18, we see how Ebed-Melech fear did not come to pass because he trusted God in trial times.

But I will deliver you in that day,” says the Lord , “and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword; but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put your trust in Me,” says the Lord. ” Jeremiah 39:17-18 NKJV

So give your anxiety to God and trust in Him. For your fears will not come to pass in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. NO NEED TO PANIC!

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Thank you for letting me know that my fear will not come to pass as long my trust is in You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
